RAC have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a Graduate to join us as a Resource Planning Analyst in the Group Operations Planning Department, to support Field Based & Contact Centre Service Delivery Teams.

As a Resource Planning analyst, you can expect to be supporting the Group Operations planning department across our field-based roles and contact centre teams. You will support and develop the operational modelling methodology and provide the operation areas with workforce planning forecasts and budgets, including analytical insights to support with improvements for the future. One of the teams’ main objectives is to continuously improve service levels and efficiency by ensuring that all operation plans derived from outputs and insights are followed through to implementation and measured accurately through multiple reporting methods.
This role will be based from our Walsall office, however once COVID restrictions subside, we will move to a flexible hybrid model with a mixture of office and home working. Once your application has been reviewed, we will then discuss your preferred working arrangements.
Role Purpose
- To deliver short- & long-term demand forecast for all contact centre across Group Operations
- Demand forecast outputs & models to be continually measured for accuracy & to identify further areas for improvement
- Annual Budget and Quarterly Reprojections for all operating areas to be owned & reported on
- Weekly Cost & KPI re-projections (Emerging View’s) to ensure full cost control & outward comms on operational KPI’s to support delivery of the plan.
- All resourcing forecasts to be built & maintained to feed into short- & long-term planning. Efficient & accurate tools to be built and maintained for use of resource planning team, taking a lead role to identify further opportunities for improvements
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will be degree educated in mathematics, statistical analysis or similar and thrive in a fast-paced analytical environment. We are looking for someone with the confidence & knowledge to manipulate/interpret large amounts of data which will help to facilitate with different levels of forecasting and analytics. You will have a proven track record and knowledge of statistical and analytical techniques to support with problem solving and driving positive business change. Some experience in structuring and segmenting complex data is essential along with data / insight tools such as Power BI / Tableau and SQL.
