    The Product Engineering team is key to the product creation process, combining expertise with passion to bring our products to life. We are a dynamic team with a great work ethic, together with a strong team spirit that makes working at Rapha as a Product Engineer a unique experience.

    This internship is a great opportunity for those studying a fashion, sportswear or a creative related course who are keen to learn and develop their skills and understanding of the product development process within the industry. This role is ideal for someone coming up to a placement year. 

    The role

    Supporting the Apparel and Accessories Product Engineering team on day to day tasks such as:

    • Learning the product development process from CAD through to production sign off
    • Learning about function, construction, fit, fabrics and trim, across our apparel and accessories categories
    • Measuring product review samples
    • Support in cross functional product review meetings
    • Minute taking and administrative tasks
    • Booking fit models, co-ordinating and preparing for fit meetings
    • Manage post to and from suppliers
    • Support on PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) style updates
    • Booking team events

    The candidate

    Candidates may possess the following skills. We're open to a wide variety of backgrounds and skill sets which may fulfil the requirements in a similar way.
    Ideally carrying out a degree or studying in apparel fashion / sportswear. 

    • Proficiency using Mac OS, Adobe Illustrator and G Suite 
    • Ability to communicate effectively within the team
    • Highly organised and inquisitive personality with excellent attention to detail.
    • A positive attitude is key to this role
    • Ability to prioritise workload across multiple projects
