Role: Anti-Money Laundering (AML) File Reviewer - Liverpool (3 Month FTC)
What is the purpose of the role?
The AML File Reviewer is responsible for assisting the IW&I Financial Crime Team with completing a specific client due diligence review project, as well as for providing regular progress reports and management information.
What are the Key responsibilities of the role?
- Undertake file reviews of client due diligence documents to determine the level of compliance with relevant anti-money laundering regulations and IW&I's policies and procedure.
- Identify and record details of any due diligence documents which do not meet internal standards or are missing and update the project tracker.
- Generate and review reports relating to client due diligence findings, escalating as appropriate.
- Perform analysis of high-risk clients, report findings and escalate where necessary.
- Identify potential suspicious activity and escalate where required.
- Ensure KPIs are achieved across review processes, develop MI/ reporting to oversee performance activities.
- Proactively engage with IW&I Financial Crime team in respect of any requirements, progress of the project and quality assurance checking.
- Perform and review client risk assessments and make risk-based decisions based on the analysis undertaken.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a good relationship with the business directly, and through the teams.
What are the core skills and knowledge required?
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- High level of accuracy and concentration with ability to grasp new tasks quickly.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively prioritise workloads.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- IT literate with a excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience of working with data.
- Experience of working within an Anti-Money Laundering environment is not essential.
As part of our collaborative and agile culture, our working week is 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
