As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Graduate Design Engineer.

This role offers the potential to build a career, with technical progression paths through senior & principal engineer roles, or alternatively people management progression through team lead & manager roles.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Integrated Product Team on the design of new composite components ensuring that the developed solution is optimized for cost, weight, quality & satisfies current composite manufacture capabilities and practices.
- Design and create 2D and 3D Parametric Models, associated drawings & BoMs to exceed the design specifications for the product.
- Create and review engineering issues to closure through the implementation of Engineering Change Notices into production.
- Set up new components and materials in Teamcenter and support the introduction of new products on the shop floor.
- Design and create technical specifications and drawings for tools and fixtures to ensure the product satisfies the specifications and tolerances required.
- Support the Production Team with the resolution of engineering related issues.
- Liaison between Operations and Design
- Establish and maintain design best practices
- Promote and support a safe working environment in line with Company objectives.
- Contribute to the culture of continuous improvement within the department.
- Identify and implement Lean initiatives.
- Any other duties as required to support business needs.

What you need to succeed?
Essential criteria
- Hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
Desirable criteria
- A minimum of 1 years’ relevant engineering experience gained in a design or manufacturing environment.
- Experience of Composite Design and processes.
- Experience in New Product Development / New Product Introduction.
- Experience in Engineering Change Management.
