Responsibilities
- Creation and completion of database for metallic raw materials used by HSM and key suppliers by reviewing drawings, contacting suppliers
- Analysis of this data to identify opportunities to consolidate material spend, inventory and secure pricing
- Establish long term visibility of material deliveries to secure production beyond immediate horizon and onward communication as necessary
- Immediate point of contact for Raw Material enquiries from RFQs and ongoing supplier relationships
- Support Request for Quotation (RFQ) as necessary as part of Commodity Strategy creation
