Where you will be working?
We are seeking a Marketing Executive for The Principal York and The Met Hotel Leeds.
The Principal York boasts 155 elegant comfortable bedrooms and suites, a large events centre accomodating 400 delegates, 3 food and drink venues and a leisure centre.
The Met Leeds is a much-loved landmark, blending it original design with comtemporary interiors to create a 4-star city retreat. The property is well suited for city breaks, business trips and events.

What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, you can expect your working day to include the following.
- Manage paid media campaigns that deliver ROI for Rooms, Gift Vouchers, Restaurants and Bars, Weddings.
- Create innovate packages and campaign ideas to drive revenue across Rooms, Restaurant and Bars, Weddings and Meetings and Events
- Create a plan to consistently drive YOY gift voucher revenue
- Work with external agencies to ensure a social media strategy is in place along with creating some of your own content
- Work with the partner PR agencies to ensure plans are aligned with the hotels and executed within the defined timeframe
- Create an email calendar along with build and sending of emails
- Create initiative to drive date capture for the hotels.
- Work with the hotel to support on any photoshoots and filming
What we need from you
We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements...
To succeed in the role of Marketing Executive, you will need the following qualities and skills.
- 1+ years’ marketing experience ideally within hospitality, travel, or marketing/PR agencies
- Social media marketing experience is required
- Digital marketing experience (PPC, display ads, google analytics etc.) is preferred
- PR experience is preferred
- InDesign experience preferred
- Creative copy writing skills with exception attention to detail
- WordPress, Umbraco (or similar CMS) experience is an advantage
- Dot Digital (or similar CRM system) experience is an advantage
- High level of organisation and the strong ability to juggle many projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills
- Eager to follow and introduce new trends and tools
- Passionate about Hotels, Restaurants, Bars and Travel.
- Effective decision-making skills
- Ability to liaise with all levels of the organisation
