    For 30 years we’ve been independently developing and publishing incredible video games at our multiple studios founded by Jason & Chris Kingsley, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film and mo-cap studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.

    The role

    We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Producer to join our passionate and experienced Production team, to help work on a post-apocalyptic survival action game in development. The ideal candidate will be proficient in project management with an aptitude for prioritising and multi-tasking.

    You will be part of the team that works with Rebellion’s internal development and publishing teams as well as external development teams. Working with external teams will give you an insight into how different teams work, giving you the opportunity to learn and evolve as an Assistant Producer with the longer-term aim of growing into the role of Producer.

    Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate collaboration between Rebellion’s internal teams and external partners, supporting the work of the development partners ensuring a healthy communication flow exists.
    • Ongoing assessment of production documents and Jira issues identifying bottlenecks and dependency issues and empowering the external partners to achieve milestone goals.
    • Scheduling elements of the project and track the progress of tasks through to completion.
    • Reviewing builds and milestone deliverables producing reports against the contracted milestones and production documents such as the GDD.
    • Involvement in key meetings, document production and tracking action points & risks on Confluence.
    • Coordinate outsourcing services such as localisation and track their progress.
    • Sharing builds and compiling build notes for QA that are of a suitable quality and ensuring that QA have all relevant information that will allow them to test efficiently.
    • Identifying release candidates, storing them in a predefined safe location and liaising with the submissions department to ensure the correct builds are submitted and released to schedule.
    • Presenting the game to stakeholders and when called upon at press events.
    • Co-ordinating the release of screenshots and demos with the marketing team and development partners.
    • Liaising with the Community Support team making them aware of potential issues as well as helping them solve reported issues and updating them on fixes in the next release.

    Requirements

    • Good knowledge of Confluence, Jira, Office 365, and Microsoft Teams
    • Understanding of how source control systems such as Perforce work.
    • Excellent teamwork, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly clear and accurate verbal, and written language, contributing to good working relationships throughout the Rebellion team and external partners.
    • Perform well under pressure, able to schedule and plan ahead, setting and prioritising objectives, inspiring, supervising and delegating where necessary in order to deliver results.
    • Self-confident and motivated, able to cope well and act decisively and sensitively under pressure.
    • Determined to make both a great game and a great work environment.
