In R&D, we're full of highly skilled talents that include Scientists, Engineers, Medical, Clinical and Regulatory professionals - all working to create a cleaner, healthier world. About the role
As an Assistant at Reckitt, you are on the frontline of transforming ideas into reality. Your scientific talent will be crucial in driving our operations across various pillars, ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed our rigorous standards. Your work will contribute to the resilience and advancement of our ambitious portfolio, within an environment that values growth and learning.
Your responsibilities
- Support in the creation of technical dossiers such as stability report, claims documentation, and manufacturing trials. Relating to medicinal product dossiers, medical device technical files and cosmetic product information files to support regulatory licence variations across a multitude of products in the global market.
- Build technical knowledge of respective areas of the product portfolio/ technologies and leverage this within day-to-day activities.
- Responsible for the assigned laboratory activities in compliance with standards of Good Laboratory Practices, keeping accurate records and in conformance with all relevant safety and quality requirements. Collaborate and be responsible for data processing, interpretation and report writing. Own and execute testing for stability studies in support of existing products currently on market globally.
- Formulation and raw material management – Potential to be trained and apply your new knowledge and skills to facilitate with the support of formulation activities in the team and maintain required documentation for control and use of raw materials within the formulation laboratory.
- Take ownership of R&D actions ensuring day to day functional work associated with specified actions is implemented and delivery of project specific objectives to agreed timelines.
- Contribute towards continuous improvement of R&D laboratory procedures and best practices.
- Work with other teams globally across R&D, supply, quality and regulatory to ensure compliance projects are delivered on time and to a high quality, and any issues highlighted to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
The experience we're looking for
- Degree Qualified in a Scientific discipline. Preferably Chemistry, Biochemistry
- Results orientated, dynamic and self-motivated with an ability to evaluate and take calculated risks.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills and the ability to positively interact and communicate within a diverse team.
- Proven ability to work under pressure without compromising quality and delivery.
- Self-starter and motivated to learn. The role is fast-paced, and the candidate must be comfortable with changing priorities based on business needs.
