Since the Packaging Waste Regulations were introduced, we’ve provided simple and innovative environmental solutions to over 4,000 customers. We’ve also expanded with new offerings and alternative services to cover wider areas of sustainability including waste management and recycling, carbon management, energy management, international compliance, and data management.

About our Graduate Program / the role
This 2-year Graduate Programme in Data is designed to give the successful candidates experience of working in our UK and International Compliance teams. Our Data Graduates will gain valuable experiences from understanding complex technical legislation, working with our extensive packaging weights database, and interacting with large blue-chip companies and household brands such as Superdry, Sainsbury’s, ASOS, Nando’s, JD Sports, Tesco and Miele.
As part of the Graduate Programme you will rotate through different teams, learning all about Valpak and how we help our customers whilst picking up plenty of transferable skills along the way. You will need to be confident working with data and engaging with customers and happy to keep up with the fast-paced learning. At the end of the scheme, you will be working as a Senior Account Manager with lots of options for ongoing development.
Training and Benefits
You’ll have access to funded external and internal training in Data, Customer Service, Presentation Skills and the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and if you chose the international route, we can offer some help with languages. All of this is geared towards kick starting your career and personal development.

Your Qualifications:
You’ll need to have, or be on course to achieve, a minimum 2:1 degree in ideally a STEM or Environmental subject.
