    The Biodiversity Graduate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of Redrow’s industry-leading Nature for People strategy. Working closely with Group Biodiversity Manager you will be involved in all aspects of the strategy – implementation of new ways of working; helping develop our approach to Biodiversity Net Gain; research into new approaches to engage communities and measure outcomes; assessing progress; and engaging with a range of stakeholders to deliver and promote the strategy.

    Key responsibilities

    • Implement the commitments of Redrow’s Nature for People strategy and Biodiversity Net Gain across the business
    • Develop guidance for teams to improve outcomes for nature, people and the business, using ecological technical knowledge
    • Proactively promote Redrow’s Nature for People strategy with stakeholders and support the delivery of the Nature for People engagement, communication and training plan
    • Provide assurance on delivery of the strategy commitments by reviewing working practices, processes and assessing outcomes for nature and people
    • Understand the regulatory horizon and changing government policy
    • Report strategy progress through data collection and analysis
    • Enable the delivery of projects within the strategy, including liaison with consultants, contractors and management companies; and Working Group administration

    What we are looking for

    • A minimum of a 2:1 degree in a relevant subject
    • Drive and ambition with a positive “can do” attitude and and an interest in the industry
    • Good communicator – verbally engaging and passionate about business biodiversity and ability to build relationships across the business
    • Demonstrable ecological knowledge to deliver and assess outcomes; and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate data effectively
    • To be curious and adaptable, to overcome barriers and find solutions
    • To have good attention to detail and excellent written communication skills
    • To be organized and have the ability to work on your own initiative and be a strong team player
    • To be energetic and enthusiastic about achieving your goals with a keenness to learn, improve and progress
