    The Role

    We are looking for a junior credit analyst who is keen to work on European high-yield primary and secondary situations. The analyst will be involved in publishing credit research reports with actionable investment ideas, focusing on fundamental credit analysis, relative value analysis, and valuation.

    You will work alongside a team of financial analysts, legal analysts and editorial staff to provide research and analysis directly to our subscribers, which include top hedge funds, investment banks, trading desks, financial advisors and law firms.

    Responsibilities

    • Support and collaborate with other credit analysts, legal analysts, reporters, and our editorial team to cover topical high-yield and distressed situations.
    • Contribute through analyzing business fundamentals, spreading financial statements, building capital structures, and compiling operating peer and bond comparable tables
    • Review debt documentations, conduct sector research, and draft takeaways in reports produced by the credit analysts.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related fields. Recent graduates with 3-6 months of experience in the financial industry, including internships.
    • A good understanding of how businesses operate, including main risks, revenue drivers, credit metrics and macroeconomic conditions.
    • An ability to interpret financial statements to evaluate business performance.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Some experience in building capital structures, financial modeling experience preferred.
