    What you’ll be doing

    We have an exciting opportunity to join Revantage UK’s Graduate Scheme. The role is a structured, broad three-year rotational scheme specifically crafted for final year undergraduates looking for a challenging commercial role. You will complete all of the ICAEW exams over a 3-year period in order to gain accreditation to the ICAEW and become a Chartered Accountant. Revantage UK is an ICAEW accredited training provider.

    The scheme will provide continuous rotational opportunities and is an outstanding opportunity for an aspirational graduate to gain experience in some of the following areas:

    • Corporate Accounting – This team is responsible for the corporate accounting for all Revantage UK entities and monthly reporting to Blackstone. During this rotation you will be involved in tasks such as preparation of monthly trial balances , cash management, statutory reporting, revenue analysis and benefits administration
    • Property Management – This team work closely with Blackstone’s property portfolio to onboard new deals and work with existing businesses. Responsibilities include financial reporting, financial control and acting as the interface between Revantage UK Account Managers and the onsite and external property managers
    • Account Management – Revantage’s Account Management team works with both active and legacy deals across the business. During this rotation you will be assisting with the preparation of management accounts, bank reporting, US Tax reporting as well as annual accounts and the year end audit process
    • Finance Systems – The systems team manage and develop Yardi system for all UK users. This function provides helpdesk support, resolves Yardi issues and manages the upgrades, UAT, testing and deployment of new functionality
    • Portfolio Management Programme - As a member of the PMP team, you will partner with the European portfolio companies assisting in the integration of their finance function and providing key support to their finance team

    The Finance Analyst will have the opportunity to gain experience in the valuations, business transformation, risk and legal teams

    Secondment opportunities to Blackstone, European Portfolio Companies and other Revantage Global Offices will made available where possible

    Skills & Experience

    • A strong academic record with, or on track for a 2(i) Degree in any subject from a leading university
    • Motivation to study the ACA qualification
    • Analytically minded and have the ability to assimilate and apply new techniques and knowledge quickly to deliver insights and solve problems
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • A passion to contribute to the growth of the team
    • Self-motivated with lots of energy and drive
    • Strong team working skills are essential
    • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
    • Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high quality work within targeted deadlines
