    The Property Consultancy team provide strategic advice and guide our clients through a full spectrum of consultancy services in asset management and compliance related activities within the affordable housing sector.  The team undertake circa 30,000 condition surveys each year of residential stock.

    Due to our continuing success and growth, we are recruiting a Data Analyst to join this successful and talented team on either a full time or student placement basis.  The role would particularly suit an individual with an interest in data collection, analysis and formation of related asset management strategies ideally with experience in related databases (not necessarily within the housing sector).

    Role and Responsibilities

    The role will be varied and include the following:

    • Assist with the management of surveys and co-ordination with the survey manager
    • Set up of new surveys including data configuration
    • Set up of mobile devices for surveyors to collect data
    • Data QA checks and validation
    • Provide monthly progress reports and updates
    • Deal with confidential data
    • Assist with the preparation of monthly fee accounts
    • Prepare survey outputs including cost tables for reporting
    • Provide input into asset management advice and support
    • Undertake asset performance modelling
    • Decent Homes and HHSRS assessments and validations
    • Managing energy data to inform sustainability strategies
    • Developing inhouse best practice data management
    • Work closely with and support the Team Leader

    Experience and Skills Required

    To apply for this role, ideally you should evidence / demonstrate:

    • An analytical mind with excellent written and oral skills to produce considered and robust outputs for the team and clients
    • Experience of working with databases and related analysis
    • Experience or knowledge of housing related systems would be advantageous 
    • Any knowledge of construction technology relating to residential accommodation would be beneficial

    It is anticipated the role will require initial and on-going training in areas where knowledge may be limited and you will be fully supported in gaining expertise to develop your skills.
