The Role
This creates multiple opportunities for candidates to join building on our past strengths and successes. The roles available are wide and varied, and include:

- Sustainability Engineer
- Building Physics and Dynamic Modeller
Sustainability has a broad reaching scope and scale, and this brings multiple opportunities to grow, learn and develop. Our successful candidates will be given every opportunity to broaden their knowledge to encompass more than a narrow element of sustainability on dynamic and diverse projects.
Candidates will be involved in developing, governing, and delivering sustainability strategies from inception, through to hand over for buildings and property portfolios.

The team provide a range of sustainability services direct to client organisations, external consultant teams, contractors, as well as to our own Ridge multi-disciplinary project teams.
Responsibilities
- Support all areas of Energy and Sustainability consultancy
- Assist with the modelling of non-domestic buildings via IES VE
- Assist with energy certificates (EPC, DEC)
- Carry out SAP/SBEM compliance assessments
- Prepare Energy & Sustainability Statements and Strategies
- Prepare Net Zero Carbon assessments
- Support with energy surveys
- Provide frequent project updates to clients on progress with sustainability assessments
- Provide sustainability assessments for construction projects from planning through to completion
- Develop and improving existing energy strategies
Experience and Skills Required
- BSc/MSc degree in Sustainability, Energy, Building Services, Architecture or similar
- Have a genuine passion and interest within the field of Sustainability
- Good knowledge level of dynamic simulation software such as IES VE or DesignBuilder (Desirable)
- Good knowledge level of Revit and AutoCAD
- Understanding of the built environment
- Full clean UK driving license (Desirable)
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Brilliant time management and organisational skills
