Would you like to join a growing Defence and Space team? We are looking for Occupational / Organisational Psychology graduates to join our busy Training, Learning and Development capability group. Based in our friendly office in Swindon, you’ll find yourself working on a range of Defence projects, whether they be for a main battle tank, nuclear submarine, fighter jet or an unmanned aerial system. You will be a part of the team, which counsels the military in the most optimum ways to train personnel, considering human factors, psychology, user experience, whether this be in real time operational situation or in a high tech simulation environment.
You can expect variety and some travel, visiting UK client sites to discuss projects, and develop solutions. You will be working in a team of highly skilled consultants who will be supporting you as you develop your skills with RINA.
This opportunity is ideal for an adaptable and motivated psychology graduate with a flair for problem-solving, creativity and looking to enhance your technical skillset whilst building a successful career in Consulting.
Contracted to 37.5hrs per week, working half days on Friday, RINA is a hybrid/smart working organisation; where you will split your time between the office, clients and at home.
Qualifications & Experience
- A Graduate with a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Occupational Psychology or Organisational Psychology, or equivalent.
- Prepared to travel up to 25% to client sites to capture requirements and build client relationships
- Self-motivated and organised, with excellent attention to details, driven to make a difference, you’ll be confident in your abilities, ready to use your initiative and work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
- A keen problem solver with an analytical mind which you use to promote innovative ideas and thinking
- Excellent verbal communication skills , to successfully liaise with colleagues and clients, and good team working skills
- A competent writer able to accurately assemble written and numerical data into presentations and reports
- Client focussed, keen to understand more about us, our customers and ready to develop your commercial knowledge
- Must be a British citizen, with the ability / eligibility to achieve Security Clearance.
