The Key purpose of this role is the design and implementation of structural maintenance and refurbishment works on Highway Structures.
The role also requires delivery of bridge management duties including the following areas: data and asset management, NRSWA, works programme & budget control and periodically undertake structures inspections. This will require some knowledge of structural design codes, of the DMRB, MCHW and of CDM regulation and processes.
The role
- To assist in the management and monitoring of works programmes or services.
- To assist in budgetary control and ensure that financial management is undertaken throughout areas of responsibility.
- To prepare monthly progress reports and programme updates
About you
- Candidates will come with an educational base, Civil Engineering T Level/HND or equivalent high-level qualification.
- Knowledge and application of Health and Safety legislation including Construction (Design & Management) Regulations
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with people both internally and our supply chain partners.
- Hold or working towards a driving licence as attending site visits will be required.
