    Robert Dyas, part of The Theo Paphitis Retail Group which also includes Ryman, Boux Avenue and The London Graphic company is currently looking for a hard-working, reliable HR assistant to join our Wimbledon team.
    A flexible, easy-going personality with strong communication skills and attention to detail will be key to your success in this role.

    Duties and Responsibilites

    • Overall responsibility for HR administration for Head Office, Distribution Centre and Retail Stores.
    • Using Payroll & HR system to assist with HR queries and run regular monthly reports and ad hoc when required.
    • General administration support to all of the HR team, including note taking for formal meetings and supporting with writing and posting letters relating to employee relations matters.
    • First point of contact for any HR queries from all Robert Dyas employees.
    • Process administration relating to maternities/promotions/transfers/starters & leavers/change of hours.
    • Prepare and issue offer contracts to successful candidates.
    • Ensure that all paperwork is returned promptly and that employee details are loaded onto the HR system promptly and accurately.
    • Ensure that all colleagues have the right to work in the UK at the point of employment and ongoing and that any issues are highlighted to the Hiring Manager.
    • Ensure that the correct references are obtained.
    • Ensure colleagues are fully equipped to commence their roles and that procedures and process has been followed accurately.
    • Create and issue all new and replacement colleague ID cards and colleague discount cards.
    • Manage and respond to all external requests for referencing including mortgages and employment.
    • Responsible for the distribution of incoming and outgoing post.
    • Ensure that all administration tasks and duties are completed accurately and timely.
    • Distributing badges, discount, and birthday cards to colleagues.

    About You

    Although we do not require you to have previous HR experience, we are looking for applicants to have the following experience:

    • Previous administration experience ideally in a retail environment
    • Flexible to work additional hours if required (Normal hours 9.00 to 5.30)
    • Live within reasonable distance from Retail Support Centre (Wimbledon)
    • High attention to detail
    • Proactivity
    • Strong keyboard and PC skills knowledge of Work, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
    • Strong communication and team working skills
