    Our work

    The Pharma Technical Operations (PT) involves a range of activities, from Supply Chain to Regulatory Affairs to Finance to People & Culture. Click here to find out the range of departments involved as well as previous projects worked on.

    Included in the internship will be training on the basic concepts of the work done in the respective departments. The interns will also be able to take advantage of Roche resources on subjects such as interviewing, making presentations, time management and more.

    Duration

    Three months from July to September 2023. The positions will be either full or part time, allowing for students to continue with their university studies if needed.

    Location

    Switzerland, Germany or UK. Work format will be virtual/hybrid/remote depending on your proximity to the respective offices. Travel to Basel is expected. Please note that the candidate should have the necessary work permits or visas to allow travel in the EU or CH. If not, this should be communicated. Roche will cover all expenses.

    About you

    Qualifications

    • Currently studying your bachelors and masters degree in Switzerland, Germany or UK.
    • High interest in getting to know the technical operations of the healthcare industry 
    • The ability to use Microsoft or Google applications such as Sheets, Excel, Powerpoint is a plus but training will be provided.

    Recruitment stages

    Phase I

    Your CV and Cover Letter should be in English. Purpose - our focus on this first stage is to understand why you have applied for this role and what you will bring to the role to ensure team and personal success.

    As part of your cover letter, Roche is keen to understand how you would bring your unique self to the OUR program and your motivation in applying for this position. You should, therefore, provide responses to the following:

    • If you had to choose a single example or achievement in your life that shows your unique self and would make you suitable for this role, what would it be and why?
    • How does this unique experience and perspective contribute to fostering diversity and inclusion in a professional setting?

    Your cover letter should not exceed one page. Please note that any application without a cover letter will be automatically rejected.

    Phase II

    • Video Interview (you will be required to answer a few questions within a short period of time. This video will be recorded).

    Phase III

    • Virtual Interview (two interviewers will have a conversation with you to give you a deeper insight into the program and get to know you better).
