The role
The Bespoke Purchasing and QMT department are responsible for the selection and management of external suppliers to support the bespoke business. Relying on close working relationships with internal/external partners alike, the department is tasked with delivering new and innovative bespoke products from a specialist low volume supply base. It takes people with an uncompromising perception of quality and exceptional business acumen to procure the most suitable materials for each of our unique bespoke vehicles.
What will you be doing?
- Managing the purchasing of a selection of bespoke components.
- Managing the delivery of those components through to production.
- Raising purchase orders and familiarising yourself with the SAP purchase ordering system.
- Exploring new innovations ideas with potential suppliers.
- Co-ordination and steering of Target Management Process and key performance indicators (KPI’s).
Qualifications
- Have achieved a minimum of a 2:2 in your Bachelor degree or a pass in your Master studies - preferably in Business Studies, Engineering and or Supply Chain Management.
- Strong relationship building skills and ability to show good inter-personal skills, showing exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational and time management skills, and ability to show high attention to detail to every task.
- Ability to adapt working approach depending on specific requirements, prioritise activities, work under pressure, multi-task and solve problems.
- An excellent team player who possesses solid interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office and Outlook, knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
