    Due to our continued growth, our UK Integrity Management office requires a Flow Assurance Engineer to assist the engineering teams in delivering work designated to quality, time and cost.

    Following completion of a first degree in an engineering, scientific or related field of study, examples of the successful candidate’s roles and responsibilities would include the following:

    • Participate and perform designated duties in Flow Assurance projects under the supervision of Senior/Principal Engineers.
    • Assist in first level preparation of engineering calculations, flow models and analysis of simulation results.
    • Perform first level authoring of technical reports and presentations.
    • Adhere to relevant codes, standards and best practices.
    • Assist in preparation of cost estimates, proposals and business development material.
    • Liaising with engineers from other groups, on technical and other matters.

    Requirements

    Essential Skills & Experience

    • A degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Petroleum Engineering (or a related discipline)
    • Sound technical knowledge of Thermodynamics, Fluid Flow, Heat and Mass Transfer
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong problem solving and analytical ability.
    • Pro-active engineer with good attention to detail.
    • Enthusiastic and quick learner.

    Advantageous Skills & Experience

    • Process or flow assurance engineering in upstream oil and gas projects.
    • Basic/working knowledge of process or flow assurance analysis applications such as HYSYS, PIPESIM, OLGA, LedaFlow etc.
    • Basic understanding and application of programming techniques.
