Rotherham is undergoing a period of major Town Centre Regeneration, including exciting transformation of the Town Centre Public Realm funded by Towns Fund, Future High Streets Fund and Transforming Cities Fund in addition to the Council’s own Capital investment via £4m Towns and Villages Fund.
To support us in the delivery of this we are seeking two talented and enthusiastic Graduate Landscape Architects to work within the Council’s long established Landscape Design Team. This offers a great opportunity to work alongside experienced practitioners on the design and implementation of a wide range of projects, from large scale town centre public realm, schools, environmental improvement schemes, play areas, parks, masterplans and housing regeneration schemes.
Our ideal candidates would be recent graduates of a Landscape Institute accredited Postgraduate/ Masters in Landscape Architecture course and should be enthusiastic, self-motivated and have strong communication skills, and excellent design, graphic presentation and CAD skills.

These are initial temporary contracts of up to 2 years duration, interviews are expected to take place early October 2022 with the successful applicants expected to commence during October / November 2022.
These posts involve travel around the Borough on a weekly basis for which an appropriate subsistence allowance is payable.
These posts will have access to the Public Services Network, if successful you will be required to apply for a disclosure of criminal records check at the Basic level (unspent criminal convictions).
