    Individual Giving provides a vital source of income for RBG, Kew and is an area we are investing in as there’s significant potential to grow the income raised.

    Reporting into the Development Manager, Individual Giving, this role will be focused on helping to build philanthropic income from our existing audiences, alongside developing new audiences who will be passionate about supporting the work of RBG, Kew.

    We have ambitions to grow this scheme, as well as build and deliver a new regular giving product, update our on-site and online giving strategy, whilst also creating and delivering an appeal around our major initiative to refurbish the Palm House, a flagship project in our comprehensive fundraising campaign.

    About the role

    We are seeking an individual with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with an interest in working in a team to grow income from regular giving and fundraising appeals at RBG, Kew.

    This role will involve working in a busy office environment and you will need to manage multiple deadlines and have a keen eye for detail. You will be creative and enjoy inputting and researching ideas, as well as being comfortable working through the practicalities of delivery across multiple departments. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a passion for the environment, culture, and heritage or third sectors to work in a supportive and successful Development team.

    This role is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.

    What we offer

    The salary will be £27,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience. It is anticipated that interviews for this role will be held on Friday 29th September 2023.
