    The Role

    As a member of the Customer Success Delivery team within the Digital Business Unit Software, the successful candidate will provide technical simulation services, support software deployment, facilitate customer success and contribute to project delivery by supporting consultant activities across the full range of clients. This role provides an opportunity to work in both the consultancy and software industry working with a diverse and experienced team. Training and mentoring provided.

    Reporting to the Head of Customer Success, this is an ideal first role for a graduate with opportunity to build a longer-term technical consulting career. The established value of deploying business process simulation solutions is supplemented with the development of cloud-based execution, Digital Twins, Simulation-based Applications, 3D modelling and Data Science (AI/ML) approaches. We would expect the successful candidate(s) to typically spend 2 years in the role to master the technical aspects before moving into a customer-facing project delivery consultant role.

    Primary Job Responsibilities

    • Witness expertise – to develop a deep knowledge over time of our Twinn Witness software package to be able to provide technical support to customers.
    • Second-line Coordination – a key role to act as primary interface with First Line support to ensure Second Line support questions (technical modelling questions) are responded to in an accurate and timely fashion via our customer portal. Initially, this will mean reliance on the Core team to provide responses but will transition to providing the majority of answers as experience is gained.
    • Customer Relationships and Communication – maintain and develop client relationships via MS Teams, Portal, email, and phone.
    • Portal Answers – selecting, editing, and maintaining the portfolio of Answers on the Portal
    • First-line Cover – covering First Line Support during periods of holiday/absence as required. This will require knowledge of software licensing processes.
    • Marketing Support – support marketing activities through submission of blogs, videos and content for website/portal
    • Pre-sales Support – support the Core Sales team (inc. US) with demo model builds and other ad hoc requests.
    • Training Delivery – supporting Trainers in delivery of training courses in Twinn Witness (once sufficient knowledge is gained) with preparation of training materials.
    • Software/model testing – requirement to carry out testing of new software and simulation models prior to release to customers.
    • Consultancy Delivery – this is a developmental aspect of the role leading towards a role as a consultant. Initially there will be no requirement for consultancy project delivery but will start apply after reaching a good level of technical competency.

    Qualifications Attributes

    • Mathematical, scientific, computing or business University degree.
    • Experience in Process/Discrete Event Simulation an advantage
    • A desire to help develop software solutions.
    • Coding/programming skills
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Sound communication skills for report writing and presenting.
    • Strong self-starter and motivated to succeed.
    • Positive and flexible attitude.
    • Pragmatic personality with good interpersonal skills and cultural awareness.

    • Flexibility to travel on occasion to support clients.
