As a Financial/Investment Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the Functional FP&A Lead, Investment finance teams in the delivery of annual business plans, together with monthly and annual financial results, with specific focus on the investment portfolio. The role ensures investment projects are robustly tracked and accurately reported with variances identified
This is a 13 Month FTC maternity cover national Hybrid role with some travel to our London/Chesterfield offices required.
About the role
- You will work collaboratively with Investment Business Partners and functional Investment Analysts to effectively deliver informative management information in relation to the investment portfolio
- Be accountable for project budgeting process and feeding into the overall budget and plan
- Accountable for investment reporting on project performance – variance analysis actual versus budget/forecast
- You will track consolidated project financials for the relevant Group and reports on this financial performance and consolidation of project tracker financial outputs
- Work with the Transformation Office and project managers were appropriate to communicate overall financial performance of the investment programme.
- Adhoc projects in support of broader group and team objectives and improvement activity
About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes.
- Strong systems and data skills (Advanced Excel (sumifs, vlookups, macros etc) and, Advanced Powerpoint are essential, as well as preferable exposure to systems such as SAP and Alteryx).
