Are you a pharmacy student completing your 2nd or 3rd year this summer?
We have a unique opportunity to join our energetic and dynamic editorial team working at the heart of content creation of our major reference works. Working within the publishing sector will give you a greater understanding of how the content, that you will use for your future careers, is created, and enhance your ability to navigate around major Pharmaceutical Press publications.
To undertake this Internship, you need to be available from June 2023 for 12 weeks; dates to be confirmed.
Your tasks will include:
- Preparing data for content creation
- Checking typeset pages in preparation for print
- Tracking and reporting on the progress of project work
- Updating our databases.
During your internship you will:
- Learn about publishing tools in a professional environment
- Learn how content is created
- Build skills and confidence
- Learn about how RPS advances the profession of pharmacy and supports its members.
The right candidates will have:
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent typing skills and general IT skills
- Good organisational skills.
How we are currently working
We continue to work flexibly. Working from home is permitted with an expectation for this role to work from our London office on occasions when there is a need to do so, such as induction, training, workshop activities, and cross-collaboration project
