The RPS Graduate scheme

We seeking to appoint a number of Graduates across the UK into a variety of divisions within our Consulting Segment: You will have the opportunity to join the scheme and grow your career within one of our successful divisions in; Design, Town Planning, Environmental, Project Management and Cost Consulting, where you will work across a variety of different sectors on many of the major flagship projects that take place throughout the UK.

How will we develop you?

The development programme forming the core of the Graduate Scheme aims to build the foundations of a consultancy career by growing skills, knowledge, attitudes and behaviours. Alongside building experience and achievements into real expertise. The development programme is more than simply going on courses and includes:

  • instructional-type training and specific courses
  • provision of mentors from within the business
  • providing opportunities for shadowing more-senior staff to learn specific skills
  • providing project opportunities that allow development in specific areas
  • a self-managed study using various media

Your background

To be considered for the scheme with the Design department we require Graduates to be studying in one of the below subject areas:

  • Civil engineering, Architectural design, CDM, Built environment, Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering

To be considered for the scheme with the Town Planning department we require Graduates to be studying in one of the below subject areas:

  • Town Planning (RTPI accredited)

To be considered for the scheme with the Environmental department we require Graduates to be studying in one of the below subject areas:

  • Environmental Science or management, EIA, Ground Engineering, Flood Risk or hydrology, Sustainability, Acoustics, Meteorology

To be considered for the scheme with the Project Management & Cost Consulting department we require Graduates to be studying in one of the below subject areas:

  • Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Cost management, Project Management
