    This role sits within the Pet Pricing team within Personal Lines. This is an interesting and technical role, applying analytical skills to deliver pricing solutions that maximise the performance of our pet products.

    You will spend your time developing and maintaining pricing models, conducting analysis, and identifying improvements to contribute to business development and change activities. You will also provide data modelling and analytical support to enable decision making and performance management.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain pricing models and calculators to ensure the approach is accurate and robust
    • Monitor and report on scheme performance (e.g. conversion/retention rates; profitability) via regular and ad hoc analysis
    • Analyse granular pricing performance and put forward appropriate recommendations to improve business results and deliver good customer outcomes
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
    • Assist customer operations via responding to pricing queries / complaints in a timely fashion

    The Individual

    The successful applicant will need to be naturally analytical, organised and a good problem solver.

    The role will enable you to develop strong pricing and communication skills as well as building knowledge of the wider personal lines business.

    Skills and Experience

    • Strong numeracy skills and understanding of statistical analysis
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills ability to deal confidently with large data sets
    • Experience of working in a numerical, actuarial or statistical environment is preferred
