About the role

We are currently recruiting a Graduate Project Management Engineer to deliver client-side services in the Water Sector in Ireland. The successful candidate will carry out duties as part of a team accountable for the delivery of major projects with a focus on the scope, budget, schedule, and risk as part of a major capital investment programme.

Reporting to the Project Management Engineer, the Graduate Project Management Engineer will assist in managing the project from planning and design through to the successful completion and commissioning of the project.

The Graduate Project Management Engineer will assist in delivering the project on time, to budget, and to specification, ensuring the project achieves all project goals and objectives in accordance with the Employer’s requirements and the corporate strategic intent for the portfolio.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of the project around the schedule, interface, cost, variations, contract, and risk, liaising with the relevant team members and functions as required.
  • Assist in Stakeholder consultation.
  • Provide inputs into monthly Reports on the tasks throughout the project’s lifecycle including construction works (during the construction phase) that have been undertaken.
  • Assist in the development of cost estimates.

Key requirements

  • Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in the Construction/Infrastructure sector
  • Motivated person with a willingness to learn and contribute to a team
  • Clear communicator
  • Report writing skills.
  • Computer literacy.
