    We are currently looking to a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our E&M division based in Glasgow.

    The Graduate Engineer role will be responsible for assisting in all delivery preparation activities in and during operational life of programmed work. In your role as a Graduate Engineer you will receive full training and development and the platform to develop your career within WGM Engineering.

    Main duties and responsibilities

    • Write detailed and accurate risk assessment and method statements (RAMS).
    • Undertake site surveys, taking measurements, photos, asking questions of operations, understanding of process, assessing access and egress.
    • Resolve technical and logistical issues as they arise.
    • Supporting the sites’ needs, material, labour, resources, plant
    • Drive and lead procurement of materials through creation and review of bill of materials.
    • Evaluate, organise and prioritise workload within the schedule.
    • Attend client meetings.
    • Liaise with clients.
    • Regularly reporting projects progress and updates to Management.
    • Programme management: adherence to programmes and report to management on any discrepancies.
    • To provide support to management team.
    • Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.

    About you

    • To be considered for this position you will be educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering.
    • You will be ideally have previous work placements in an engineering environment.
    • Travel to various sites across the country is an essential part of the role so a full UK driving license is essential for this position.
