The primary purpose of this position is to support the efforts of the Responsible Investing team in driving responsible investing initiatives for the firm to positively drive new business and play a key role in client retention. The Graduate Analyst will support the members of the responsible investing team in the following initiatives:
- Creating internal training materials on all matters related to responsible investing.
- Developing client facing materials including presentations and reports.
- Supporting activities on industry collaborations (e.g. UNPRI).
- Providing support for internal ESG project work.
- Carrying out market and competitor research as required.
This role is a 12 month FTC to start in Feb/March 2024.

Regulatory & Business Conduct

Supporting the creation of internal and external marketing material (eg. Newsletter).
Global Industry Collaborations
Supporting the Responsible Investing team to identify and build relationships with key global responsible investing industry bodies such as PRI, IIGCC, Climate action 100+.
Climate Risk
Supporting the Manager, Responsible Investing in producing climate risk analysis for TCFD reporting.
Market Research
Producing market research on the ESG market and competition/peers.
New Business Development (EMEA)
- Supporting the Manager, Responsible investing in:
- Collaborating with the global RFP team to develop standard responses to client and prospect questions in relation to responsible investing.
- Working with the consultant relations team to develop third party knowledge and understanding of our responsible investing proposition.
Client Retention (EMEA)/Reporting
Assisting with the development of ESG related materials that can be incorporated into standard client reporting.
About you
The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:
- Relevant BSC/BA or equivalent qualification/experience needed.
- Experience in the financial services/investment industry of which significant experience will be in UK Pension Fund industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of ESG requirements on EMEA institutional investors (Pension Funds in Benelux / UK, Insurance Companies, etc) preferred.
- Knowledge of the pensions industry in the UK including a broad understanding of the objectives, operations and regulatory environment is desirable.
- Good knowledge and understanding of all major asset classes is preferred.
- Knowledge of the global capital markets and how various stakeholders interact within them.
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills (written and oral, including excellent telephone manner).
- Able to tailor and structure communications to the specific audience.
- Highly professional.
- Ability to work under pressure, both within a team and independently.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills and an ability to meet internal and external demands.
