We are currently looking for a Digital Communications Executive to join our Bath office.
The Digital Communications Executive will work with stakeholders across our business to support our external and internal communications activities.
You will play a key role in explaining our work and promoting our culture, values and people across external and internal channels, such as on social media, our internal email newsletters and intranet. This will be achieved through the creation and delivery of high-quality written and digital creative content, as well as video scripting and production, project management and event planning, for the purposes of retaining and attracting the best talent.
You will work closely with the Internal Communications Lead, Recruitment Manager, Digital Marketing Manager and wider HR team to help us position our brand to attract and retain talent and demonstrate the positive impact we have for our clients, colleagues and communities.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of our Employer Brand strategy –Work with stakeholders within HR to develop strategic campaigns that promote our brand, values, culture, CSR and recruitment related activity across our flagship external digital channels.
- Create multi-channelled content and campaigns – Execute and project manage compelling campaigns, from the ideation phase through to distribution and analysis, based on a brief provided by HR stakeholders. Content production may include video, photography, design assets and social posts.
- Manage HR/Careers social media presence - Use the range of digital platforms to proactively distribute campaign and day-to-day content. Track social media and suggest changes and improvements based on results, as well as sharing best practice with HR Team. Proactively respond to social media trends, suggesting and implementing ad hoc social posts to enhance our employer brand.
- Support collaboration between Marketing and HR teams – Understand what is happening across each department and use this knowledge to suggest ways of collaborating, sharing a consistent narrative and content internally and externally, cross promoting our work to engage internal and external audiences.
- Support the delivery of Internal Communications - Produce effective internal communications to deliver key messages to colleagues and build a network of stakeholders across the business to identify and share good news stories, blogs and articles and marketing content that promotes our people and engage our internal audiences. This will include collating content for, preparing and improving our weekly digital internal newsletter, The Curve. You will also support the Internal Communications Lead to maintain and post articles/blogs on our intranet.
Knowledge, qualifications and experience
- A degree in digital marketing, social media marketing or other relevant subject or at least 3 years’ professional experience- Essential
- Proven ability in campaign development and execution - Desirable
- Competent at video editing - Desirable
- Experience in supporting the creation, delivery and monitoring of digital and social media communications - Desirable
- Experience using WordPress or other CMS or intranet platforms - Desirable
