The role involves actively supporting the efficient processing and management of Intellectual Property (IP) data feeds, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in delivery.
As part of the IP Data Specialists team, you will collaborate closely with team members to maintain the integrity of IP data, address any inconsistencies and contribute to the ongoing improvement of data handling processes. Your efforts will play a critical role in ensuring that the team meets its operational goals and delivers high-quality results to stakeholders.

The role
Key responsibilities:
- Downloading and adding data into the IP databases
- Data validation using in-house applications, Excel, and SQL Server Management Studio
- Data correction using in-house applications, Excel, and SQL Server Management Studio
- Investigation of new patent data sources
- Assisting with helpdesk support queries
- Liaising with the development team regarding data extraction and application troubleshooting
- User Acceptance Testing of new in-house applications
- Data quality with emphasis on attention to detail
- Assisting to ensure all weekly data feeds are completed on time
- Data feed process reviews in order to improve speed and accuracy
Skills & experience
- Database querying, ideally SQL Server
- Excellent computer skills including Word and Excel
- Methodical and numerate
- Excellent eye for detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
