Sage is a world-class SaaS company, andsage.com focuses on b2b ecommerce so you’ll learn the fundamentals of conversion optimisation that underpins our design decision making. We balance a performance focus with customer centricity, and you’ll have access to rich insights from user research and performance data. Ultimately you will be contributing to crafting a website that is easy and delightful to use for our customers while driving high performance for Sage.

For this role, you will be primarily working within the Small Business segment, focusing on our cloud products. You’ll also have the opportunity to work on marketing new product launches including Sage Copilot, our new AI tool.

In the Graduate Experience Designer role, you will be working in the Central XD team with a variety of designers, covering skillsets like Visual Design, UX Design, Motion Design, User Research and more. You’ll learn about working with a design system, meeting accessibility standards, and how designs need to be localised for a global audience. As well as the core design responsibilities, you’ll also learn the processes of how new designs launch through our Sitecore CMS and the influence that design has on the wider business strategy.

Key responsibilities

What are we looking for?

As this is a Graduate scheme, you’ll be educated to degree level, ideally in a design-related subject. You’ll need to provide a portfolio to showcase your design skills and processes which can include a combination of projects from studies, personal passion projects and paid work. The successful candidates will have a positive attitude, evidence of design knowledge and skill, plus be excited to learn and grow.

You’ll be provided with training and support throughout your career with us, so whilst the following criteria will help you thrive in role, they are not all absolute essentials.

In terms of software, we use Figma and Protopie for designing and prototyping so experience with either is a plus, but we can train you as part of the role.

We have two roles available – they can either both be based in Winnersh or Manchester. We all work on a hybrid basis so you’ll need to be in the office 2 days per week.
