The process is universally manual, tedious, and error prone. At the same time, the process follows well-defined rules, abides by industry standardization, and has become increasingly data-rich. It’s a product-focused machine learning team’s dream.
Sage Artificial Intelligence Labs “SAIL” is a nimble team within Sage building the future of cloud accounting by leveraging artificial intelligence. The SAIL team builds capabilities across Sage’s product portfolio to help businesses automate and augment finance and operations workflows, to help businesses make better decisions through data-powered insights.
What you'll do
We are looking for a enthusiastic Graduate Product Manager to help to define and deliver the next generation of AI-powered financial management products. As a part of our cross-functional team, including data scientists and ML engineers, you will support product decisions, manage customer priorities, lead customer conversations, and launch new features. You will gain deep expertise in our products and use your knowledge to deliver customer value. Through your work, you will play an importantrole in shaping the future of AI-powered financial management products at a leading financial management software company.
Responsibilities
- Deeply understand the problems and needs of our customers
- Write detailed product briefs and requirements that clearly articulate the customer needs and prioritize the details to build a solution
- Review and prioritize customer feedback and transform it into product requirements
- Support feature / product development from conception to launch
- Effectively and proactively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Define and analyze metrics to understand feature adoption and guide development of existing and new features
- Develop product documentation, product presentations and other content assets to describe the work
- Ability to write detailed, technical product specs, and present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Resilience to obstacles, and ability to solve problems independently.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. preferably in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
- Knowledge of AI / ML or first-hand experience working with AI / ML-powered technology products
- An entrepreneurial / self-starter mindset who first and foremost knows how to get work done in a dynamic environment
- Deep analytical, prioritization, and problem solving skills
- Able to work within a cross-functional team to reach ambitious goals
- Clear and compelling in written and spoken communication; comfortable with public speaking
- Staying positive and able to remove blockers to get things done
- Comfortable working across time zones and different cultures
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle process and methodologies is a plus

Entry requirements
A relevant business or computer science degree, or an alternative degree supported by a keen interest/demonstrated knowledge in STEM.
