    About the role

    As a Junior Talent Business Partner, you will play an important role in supporting the development of colleagues and the delivery of our talent plans. You will have responsibility for arranging and supporting a first-class induction and other key talent and development initiatives ranging from facilitating talent reviews to division specific development requirements.

    Working closely with key stakeholders across the business, you will ensure that we identify and develop the best talent, strengthen teams across the business, and deliver on our group aims for diversity, inclusion, and progression.

    In other organisations, this role might be known as HR Business Partner, Talent Partner, or Talent Development Specialist (internally this role will be known as a Talent Delivery Consultant), among others, but no matter what your role title is, we are looking for someone with experience of managing and influencing stakeholders, analysing data to provide useful insight, and developing talent within a large, complex organisation.

    • Play an important role in supporting the development of colleagues and the delivery of talent plans.
    • Play a key role in analysing and manipulating key talent/HR data across stakeholder group, and effectively storytelling with data to support talent plans.
    • Be responsible for arranging and supporting the delivery of a first-class induction and other key talent and development initiatives – these will range from facilitating talent reviews to meeting division specific development requirements.
    • You will work closely with the Senior Talent Partner/Leads and the Centre of Excellence teams to support the delivery of a strategic talent plan for a business area(s).
    • Play an important role in supporting the business in developing talent and building capability. 
    • Be responsible for arranging and supporting the facilitation and delivery of training solutions and other key talent and development initiatives – these will range from facilitating workshops to supporting with talent priorities and processes
    • You will work closely with and support the Senior Talent Leads/Partner in their specific area of the business to design and deliver talent strategies, managing, co-ordinating and implementing activities as required.

    • Great communicator and influencer at all levels
    • Great at manipulating data and telling a story with it and excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
    • Able to demonstrate attention to detail
    • Demonstrate evidence of delivery through prioritisation, stakeholder engagement, initiative, and collaboration
    • A good understanding of general HR principles and practices, including in the following areas; talent management, learning and development, diversity and inclusion
    • Some experience of owning, tracking, and delivering HR projects
    • Some experience building relationships and partnering leaders and COE’s on HR initiatives
    • An understanding of emerging trends in HR and the broader market including external talent good practice
    • Clear sense of ownership and an ability to follow through tenaciously to resolve issues
