If you are a part qualified accountant, qualified by experience or a recent graduate just looking to start your career in finance; this role could be for you. We are currently looking for an assistant accountant to join our in house finance team as we have seen a major uplift in work and need an extra person to help with the workload.
Formula is one of 30 Saint-Gobain brand’s, Saint-Gobain Formula are the leading supplier of high performance industrial plasters and gypsum products. We supply to a number of markets including; Ceramics, Construction, Fibrous & Decorative Plaster, Dental & Personal Care, Food, Agricultural and Environmental. The site has a variety of production machinery including; Material Handling, Crushers, Grinders, Millers Blenders, Auto Claves, Palletizers and Heating equipment
This is a full time-permanent role working from 8:30-4:30 Monday to Friday. After you are fully trained this role can become hybrid and you can work a few days from home.
What we’re looking for
We are open to experience as you can be on your way to be being a fully qualified accountant, an assistant accountant who is qualified by experience or a recent accountancy or finance graduate who is looking to kickstart their career.
- Someone with an interest in accountancy and is willing to learn
- If you have no professional accountancy experience, you will need to have a Finance or Accountancy degree
- Have a good attitude and work well in a tight-knit team
What you will be doing
- Invoice the sales from Formula to other Saint-Gobain brands
- Process personal expenses
- Dealing with overheads and overhead reports/analysis
- Balance sheet reviews
- Reporting analysis on our payments to suppliers
