    We are accepting applicants who are based in either the North East of England, UK or the Paris area, France. Applicants are required to work in the office at least one day per week, following a hybrid working model.

    The Engineering Team at SaleCycle

    You will join one of our friendly cross-functional product delivery teams. Our empowered agile teams focus on working together to deliver well-designed and production-scalable solutions. We focus on modern software languages running on AWS cloud infrastructure.

    We are looking for people who are

    • Committed to lifelong learning of new skills and sharing that information with their colleagues
    • Passionate about delivering excellence from initial concept, through to the delivery to our customers
    • Proficient at producing clean code in line with industry good practises eg SOLID
    • Comfortable working in cross functional teams who regularly provide support, mentoring and feedback to one another
    • Able to contribute to automated testing and monitoring our production system
    • Adept at problem solving and persistent in diagnosing and resolving issues
    • Proficient one or more of the following languages:
      • GO (golang)
      • Typescript/Javascript
      • Java
    • Experienced with RESTful Microservice Architectures
    • Familiar with git or other distributed source control

    We also value any experience of

    • AWS cloud services
    • React or Similar
    • Docker
    • Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines
    • Mentoring and training people

    The recruitment process will consist of

    An interview with an Engineering Manager and a couple of our Software Engineers to get to know each other better and explore the skills you can bring to the team and the opportunities that we can give you.

    You may then be invited for an interview with our Chief Technology Officer
