    What you will be doing

    We have an exciting opportunity as a Structural Risk Reporting Analyst, within the wider the Market and Structural Risk team with the responsibility for measuring and reporting the Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB). The team produces the necessary MI and analysis to senior committees to monitor, report and control the risk exposure of the bank through a range of risk metrics and scenarios.

    The difference you’ll make

    • Developing and maintaining the suite of existing IRRBB reporting, as well as ad hoc analyses to inform the risk decision making process.
    • Supporting the production of the suite of BAU Gap reporting as well as regulatory returns to the PRA, ECB, and Bank of Spain ensuring analysis is accurate and timely.
    • Developing an expert understanding of the drivers behind key risk metrics such as NIM and EVE and balance sheet dynamics from a structural market risk perspective.
    • Performing ad hoc analysis as required, to ensure the changes in risk exposures are understood and explained.

    What you’ll bring

    • Degree in a technical discipline or relevant experience.
    • Experience of Banking or other financial services and the products.

    It would also be nice for you to have

    • An understanding of the principles of managing and measuring IRRBB.
    • Excel skills with Macros and VBA to help develop analyses and processes.
    • Knowledge of QRM is advantageous.
