We are looking for

An ambitious and confident individual with an inquisitive mind and a flexible approach to join our growing team in our head office at Godalming.  With some experience in construction, you may have a degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or Construction Management.

You will be responsible for

• Assisting with estimating project values at different stages of the project 
• Helping with formulating tender lists and assisting in compiling tender documentation 
• Assisting with procuring and placing sub-contract and supply orders 
• Providing assistance with assessing overall project expenditure, including evaluating sub-contractors’ variations. 
• Helping compile project valuations including assessing sub-contractors’ assessments before payments are made. 
• Attending design review meetings 
• Assisting with monitoring order placement 
• Assisting with cost reporting/cost control of internal resource and external sub-contractor, supplier and consultants
• Supporting with compiling final account with client and assessing sub-contractors final accounts

You will have

• Excellent verbal and written skills, with an ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues and clients. 
• The ability to understand contractual requirements.
• Good mathematical, administrative and analytical skills. 
• Competence in the use of MS Windows / MS Office 

The right candidate will show they are a team player but also can work on their own initiative.

The role will require occasional visiting to client sites and hence flexibility towards travelling will be required along with a full driving licence.
