    P&C Global Claims is a SCOR central transverse function that oversees the claims activities within each Hub across SCOR Global P&C, ensuring the proactive adjustment and management of claims reserves, and the timely provision of accurate management information to SCOR Global P&C leadership.

    Responsibilities

    Under the responsibility of the P&C Global Claims Management Information Manager, the candidate will assist in the production of business as usual reporting requirements plus the development of the reporting Environment for the SCOR Global P&C Claims team:

    • Production of regular routine “business as usual” reporting, working as a member of the global claims operations team
    • Assist in the specification, design and creation of Tableau dashboards to assist in running and managing the business, flagging large movements/exceptional items, trends, analysis of portfolio
    • To work with internal stakeholders in gathering requirements for future reporting &/or enhancing existing reporting
    • To assist and identify, specify, design, build, test and implement the addition of new fields into the existing reporting environment and new or existing reports
    • To assist in identifying data issues, perform root cause analysis and in collaboration with the claims reporting team and SCOR IT. Work to provide solutions to improve data integrity & accuracy
    • To assist in creating an environment that enables end users to run their own ad-hoc reports and enquiries, and allow the data to be analysed, sliced and diced from a consistent and reliable data source
    • To contribute towards creating a culture of improving quality and consistency of claims data (including coding of events), by assisting in the development of data integrity reports and routines, including
      • ensuring claims are correctly linked to events – this is crucial when events are retroceded
      • exception / control reports e.g. to monitor any deviation in claims authorities etc.
      • exception reports to ensure key claim fields are maintained and accurate

    Qualifications

    Required education

    • Educated to Degree standard, or equivalence
    • Relevant IT qualification/diploma, or equivalent qualifications

    Required experience & competencies

    • Strong Microsoft Office Skills required; Excel to advanced level
    • Knowledge of end user reporting tools (Business Objects, Tableau, SQL etc.)
    • Report writing skills and ability to assemble succinct PowerPoint presentations
    • Conversant with project management approach and methodology; awareness of the disciplines required for working on successful systems projects
    • High attention to detail, and good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, ensuring high quality of delivery
    • Good communication skills required – will need to build relationships in order to coordinate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders including IT Team, underwriters, finance and actuarial functions and other support staff in all hubs/offices in different countries
    • Self-motivated with good drive and enthusiasm; confident, requiring minimal direction & supervision
    • Some travel to other SCOR offices may be required
