    The opportunity

    This is a unique chance to be part of a high-profile project within Scottish Enterprise’s Employee Communications and Events team. Hands on with everything from planning, communications and logistics to content development, you’ll help us do whatever it takes to make a series of all-staff company events a big success.

    The role

    Your role within our Employee Communication and Events team will see you working with our events Project Manager and Head of Employee Communications.

    You’ll meet with people from across our business, support our internal communications activity, and get fully involved in the wider work of the team as you develop your writing and editing skills, and learning more about our business. Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

    • Supporting all aspects of event delivery as you manage the overall plan
    • Generating ideas, co-ordinating suppliers and managing logistics
    • Involvement in video and image creation, as well as final production
    • Writing internal communications to excite and enthuse colleagues ahead of events

    Who we're looking for

    You’ll need bags of energy to hit the ground running. You also need to be sociable and confident – someone who’s always ready to roll up your sleeves and pitch in.

    It goes without saying that attention to detail and good organisational skills are a must, as are strong written and spoken skills. It’s just as important that you can manage your time efficiently, deliver when the heat is on, and do it all with a self-motivated, can-do attitude.
