Energy Networks Business Graduate

Our Customer and Commercial Team are key to delivering the RIIO – T2 Business Plan, which outlines our goals to achieve a sustainable Net Zero future. The team supports the governance, control and delivery of all Commercial and Customer aspects of the Transmission business, and it will deliver innovative solutions to increase efficiency. And in 2022, we need a passionate graduate to join us on this exciting journey.

Right from the start, you’ll make real world contributions to our Net Zero ambition, driving the decarbonising of our network through continuous process improvements. Working with our Operational Improvement Manager, you’ll use your business analysis skills to review key business processes to identify efficiencies.

Or you might be involved in supporting our key financial governance and control activities, optimising the control of financial expenditure in high value capital projects. You’ll also work on the Business Information Modelling project, an IT and Business Change initiative that utilises 3D modelling and collaboration tools to transform how we design our construction projects and collaborate with our suppliers and customers. We put customers at the heart of what we do as we listen and learn from our stakeholders, so you’ll play a crucial role in analysing customer surveys, identifying and implementing solutions to improve our performance for our customers, stakeholder and communities.

Our programme is shaped around building your knowledge and experience of our core business functions such as Finance and Control, Business Change, Project Management and Customer Service. You’ll get the all-round experience of a dynamic commercial organisation which will enable to you to excel in our global organisation. We want to hear from you if you have, or expect to achieve, an Honours Degree (or equivalent) at a minimum of 2:2 in Business Studies, Business with IT, Economics, Accountancy (Management) or similar.
