    We are looking for 2 x Graduates to join us on a permanent basis whilst starting their Masters level Data Analyst apprenticeship early next year. 1 X placement in Commercial Finance & 1 x placement in our Customer & Digital function.

     

    What does our Data Analyst Graduate Programme look like?

    As a Data Analyst Graduate at Screwfix, you’ll complete a two year programme which is designed to develop your skillset in order to become one of our future leaders. During the programme, you will be given exposure across the business, whilst also playing a critical role in delivering one of the most ambitious growth plans in the UK.

    As a graduate we’ll equip you with the knowledge, skills and experiences you’ll need to make a significant impact and become a leading data expert.

    This is a fast paced, data driven business where you will be exposed to a range of activities straight away; real world, real time work, whilst at the same time developing unparalleled managerial and analytical skills.

    About you

    • To be eligible for our Data Analyst programme, you’ll need to have, or be on course to achieving a 2:2 or above at undergraduate level Bachelors in Computer Science or another analytical discipline.
    • We’re looking for curious, inquisitive people who show a real passion for data and technology, and the drive to explore how it can be used to make a positive difference for our customers.
    • You’ll bring strong problem solving skills, along with an analytical approach and an appreciation of analysis techniques.
    • Experience using SQL to edit, transform and load data.
    • Able to combine and manipulate large and complex data sources.
    • You will want to work in a data driven department – roles will be available in Finance, Digital & e-Commerce, Data Science and Operations.
    • You should be able to communicate data effectively and have a passion to becoming more data orientated.
    • Comfortable using data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
    • Can communicate effectively to all seniority levels.
    • Can summarise complex information.
