Seagate offers data storage solutions to help people and businesses maximize the value of data. The Wafer Operations finance team provides finance and business support to the Wafer factory operations team across two locations - Minnesota, USA, and Springtown Northern Ireland. The team is part of a global finance team that also supports Seagate operations in China, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.

"Candidates who are interested in this role must be based in Northern Ireland, This is to enable you to work Hybrid and work in the Springtown, Derry / Londonderry site, at least three days per week."

About the role you will

  • Take part in capital investment appraisals.
  • Take part in Wafer capital reporting, planning and review.
  • complete asset physical inventory and other Capital SOX compliance.
  • Provide support to colleagues in business partnering with Operations directors to meet business. objectives and provide insight and explanations for actual and forecasted performance.
  • Support the Wafer operations cost accounting, activity reporting and work-in-progress reconciliations and audit.
  • Complete Government returns and other reporting as required.
  • Be required to be flexible and transfer to any other duties considered necessary to meet the needs of the business.

About you

  • Are confident working independently and as part of a team with a willingness to learn and positive attitude and must be able to work professionally in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Are proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and accounting software.
  • Possess strong oral, analytical, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of an organisation.
  • Have a “hands-on” mentality.

Your experience includes

  • Experience in an international environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Accountancy qualification, part-qualification or similar.
  • Experience of SAP accounting software.
