Finance Placement Derry 2024

The Springtown location plays an integral role in the manufacturing process of the group, and the local finance team plays a key role in the Global Accounting organization, supporting the external reporting & technical accounting team in the United States and a number of group companies in EMEA. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a dynamic team environment.

About the role you will

We have an exciting opportunity for an 11-month internship/placement in the Finance organization. The placement dates are: Starting 2nd September 2024 to 22nd August 2025.

Working in our Springtown facility in Derry / Londonderry, Northern Ireland, you will:

• Gain significant experience working in a busy Finance team.
• Gather data for external and internal reporting.
• Support the accurate, timely and complete submission of various U.S. SEC filings including Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and Proxy.
• Participate in earnings release process of financial information.
• Opportunity to learn from different teams within the global Finance organization.
• Learn and take responsibility for financial close tasks, supporting other team members.
• Work on projects that contribute to the ongoing success of the team – for example designing and implementing process improvements.
• Ad hoc projects as required.
• This position will also require conferencing with colleagues in other countries.

Your experience includes

• Currently studying a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business operations, accounting, finance, or a related discipline
• Previous experience working a spart o fa team as well as working independently.
