    We are currently recruiting for a Hardware and Technology Development placement position across the Antrim site.

    Part of the technical team in the aftermarket business unit, this role will support the development and introduction of new aftermarket products as well as ongoing support of existing products.

    Main Duties

    There are a wide range of tasks/learning opportunities available within these roles which include:

    • Understand how the hardware blocks within the Tyre Pressure Monitoring Sensor work together to provide a system level solution.
    • Perform testing on our Tire Pressure Sensors and future products portfolio using Laboratory measurement equipment and our fleet of test vehicles. Full training will be provided.
    • Testing sensors using our full suite of laboratory equipment supporting the reverse engineering activities of the aftermarket.
    • Provide support to other teams, liaising with ASIC software and verification teams.
    • The opportunity to undertake a long-term Research & Development project to increase your knowledge base and add a current gap within the team.
    • Planning and execution of testing designs and efficient recording and communication of the results in an effort to remove defects.
    • To build prototypes for various products and technologies.
    • Investigate customer issues reported from the field and implement relevant corrective actions.

    Essential Criteria

    • You should be studying a 2:1 in a degree in Electrical, Electronics, System Design or a similar technical degree
    • Exhibit drive, enthusiasm and ambition to succeed in an automotive design environment
    • Team working skills
    • Demonstrate the ability to problem solve and work of own initiative

    • Start times from 7:30 to 9:30 (fully flexible)
    • 33 Days Holidays (pro-rata)
