    This is a multi-disciplined engineering role suited to ICT and Software Engineering Degree students. Students will be given the opportunity to work both autonomously on hardware/software test development solutions (with support provided where needed) as well as part of a team on larger development projects.

    Our Placement Development Scheme incorporates appropriate skills trainings, mentoring and progression towards an ILM Level 2 certificate.  This gives you effective team member soft skills in addition to the technical skills you will develop on your project work.

    • Assisting in the day-to-day operations of the NI Engineering Operations department.
    • Take an active role in department projects, acting as a technical resource.
    • Laterally take ownership of a component of a departmental project to further its development.
    • Understand and input to Technical reports and documentation.
    • Provide communicated updates on project/task progress, verbally and through presentations.
    • Working towards a 2:1 degree in an IT related discipline
    • Good Problem solving skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Effective time management skills
    • To work as part of a team to achieve results
    • Able to meet tight deadlines and work to targets

    • Start times from 7:30 to 9:30 (fully flexible)
    • 33 Days Holidays (pro-rata)
