Job Description
ServiceNow, a Santa Clara based software development company, is seeking a Customer Advocacy Intern who will be involved in helping to grow and strengthen our Customer Advocate Program. Through the voice of our customers, we demonstrate how the largest enterprises and hottest startups around the world are using ServiceNow to automate and innovate.
This role will be focused on supporting the EMEA Customer Advocacy team in bringing to life the success stories of our customer champions and amplifying the customer’s voice in the marketplace through the creation of customer content and opportunities. This position is supporting the team in influencing revenue growth and brand building through the creation of compelling advocacy relationships and assets and contributing to our customers’ overall success.
This role is likely to require regular communication with ServiceNow’s various EMEA marketing partners and communications team.
This individual will help manage timely deliverables and will need strong communication and relationship-building skills. They must be team oriented and have a ‘can do’ attitude and be comfortable working in fast paced, team-oriented environment.
The Position
We are looking for a marketing intern to support execution against the strategy for the EMEA customer advocacy program.
This will entail working with the existing customer advocacy team to contribute to, and possibly lead, a variety of projects to support the delivery of story and reference priorities within EMEA.
The intern will have the opportunity to observe the customer advocate journey from onboarding, sales references, content creation including engaging customer stories (written and video/visual), media interviews, keynote speaking opportunities, and more, through to amplification via social media, PR, thought-leadership and speaking opportunities. They will learn how customer content supports both sales needs and the most visible brand partnership opportunities. They will be immersed in understanding a value-based customer advocacy program.
The ideal candidate will be process-driven with a creative flair.
This role reports to the Director, Customer Advocacy - EMEA, within the Brand Marketing organization.
Potential projects
- Design and build an advocate nurture program for EMEA customer advocates.
- Support the EMEA advocate onboarding program.
- Support the EMEA customer story telling process through a variety of activities including pipeline monitoring, story services support, sourcing early story brief information and more.
- Support the creation of customer story content with the potential for leading particular story projects.
- Support the local amplification of customer stories by working closely with EMEA communications and marketing teams.
- Support EMEA team in local reporting and showcasing results.
- Support EMEA team in creating regional process materials.
- Work with agency resources as needed.
