We are currently looking for a Risk Analyst to work within our consumer lending business and will be responsible for MI, Analysis and ad-hoc reporting. This role will be responsible for supporting the operational requirements of our brokers and intermediaries which requires close engagement with our RDMs as well as Risk and Operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Creation of Management Information and analysis for Committee packs
  • Investigation for and writing of commentary for Committee packs
  • Developing the analytical capability to provide portfolio reporting and management information, at a segmented level, to monitor business performance and assist management in making strategic decisions
  • Assisting in developing measurable strategies for broker management furthering the understanding of the risk and performance, through analysis of customer behaviours and impacts to key P&L lines
  • Ad-hoc queries and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Use of SAS/SQL to generate insight into the portfolio

The candidate

  • A numerate degree
  • Experience in Conduct or Compliance is preferred
  • A good understanding of relevant regulations and industry developments
  • An understanding and experience of SAS and SQL
  • Experience working in a Finance role would be beneficial
