To assist and facilitate the teaching/learning of Music and musical activities within the Music Department for both Senior and Junior Schools and fulfil various other duties, including boarding and cover in the Senior School.
The role
This is a residential role so you would be expected to live on site. It is an exciting opportunity for a graduate in tune with our approach to education in search of gaining experience of living and working in a busy boarding and day school for one academic year, perhaps prior to embarking on a PGCE course or taking up a teaching position.
Sidcot School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service. Specific safeguarding responsibilities for this position are outlined in the job description. All positions within the School are exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
